Lyndsay Smitke

I like to think I was born with an offset spatula in one hand and an airbrush in the other.
The truth is I have been creating with different art mediums for as long as I can remember;
from drawing, painting, designing jewelry and photography to five years of
working in the hair industry as a hair artist. I attended the Art Institute of MN
for Graphic Design and gained knowledge of art forms I never knew existed.   

SnazzyCakes was founded in Fort Knox Kentucky in 2010, uprooted to Fort Bliss Texas and officially opened our cake studio in Duluth MN in 2016. 

I absolutely adore this industry because cake always seem to bring happiness. 
When was the last time you saw someone eating cake with a frown?   Right!  Never.  
​I thrive off the joy I can bring to others through my love of cake art and am blessed to have found something so beautifully rewarding that I can share with you.
